First....Thank you to all who participated in the Rainbow Valley First Annual Trunk or Treat Event. We had such and incredible, overwhelming turnout, it was just stunning! We had 15 vehicles registered to come out and we just hoped all of them would show up. Well, were we ever surprised when after a final count we had a total of 27 vehicles all handing out candy to the kids in the community! Way to go Rainbow!
I have really tried to include all the decorated vehicles in the contest, but please let me know if I missed any. You can view all the vehicles that were handing out candy on the main page.

I am so very sorry it has taken so long to get the pictures and voting up on the web site. I took over 200 photos and was having some technical issues trying to get them all posted and not leave anyone out.

A Note From the Rainbow Valley Citizen's Organization:
Hi, I am Dee Nassoiy, the Chair of Rainbow Valley Citizen’s Organization. We would like to say a few words about our Community Halloween Celebration. The first word is WOW!!! The second word is Amazing!!! The 3 word is Unbelievable!!! You get the picture! We were overwhelmed in the outcome we received. They estimated over 300 people showed up. We hope everyone enjoyed and had a great time! We are definitely looking forward to it next year. In the mean time, we will be conducting our Fire Fighters Appreciation Days in the spring. Along with the event, we will be having a Chili Cook off. Get your recipes fine-tuned and get ready to cook!
I personally would like to thank everyone that made this event possible. First and Foremost, I have to give a great big special thank you to my husband, Chip Nassoiy, for all the help he gave me and for putting up with me during this time. In addition, I would like to give a special thanks to Robert and Patti Griffith for helping organize the event and helping build the Haunted House. Kiara Mitchell gets special recognition for putting everything about the event on the Web Site, organizing the Trunk or Treat and much more. I cannot forget to thank everyone else who helped volunteer to make this event a huge success! Included in the volunteers were Karen and Scott Bedell, Ryan and Mathew Mitchell, Nikki Caufman and son Clayton, Ed and Alice Wright, Chari Poteet, Adrian Rizzo, Daisy, Dera, my 2 daughters Dana and Amber and all of the Goolies who helped in the Haunted House. There will be few that I will miss because they just pitched in and started helping and I never obtained their names. Please forgive me! Last but not least, a very, very special Thank You to Mark and Karen Alexander for letting us use the Fire Station for our event. Along with that said, we cannot forget those great Fire Fighters who helped judge the entire contest! Everyone take care and we will see you in the Spring!
