We had an incredible turn out with over 40 friends and neighbors coming out to clean up our community. We had a great time, gave out some wonderful door prizes and raffles and enjoyed each others company.
170 bags of trash were collected, 20 tires and 4 new sections or Rainbow Valley Roads are in the process of being adopted.

Program to Bring “Land of Lullaby” to Area Residents
Phoenix— The Maricopa County Department of Transportation
(MCDOT) Adopt-A-Highway Program is going “over the rainbow”. MCDOT is partnering with the RainbowValleyAZ.com and The Re/Max Achievers for the 2nd Annual Rainbow Valley Community
Road and Clean Up Celebration on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 7:00am to 9:00am.
Registration will start at 6:30am until 7:00am at the Rainbow Elementary School located at 19716 West Narramore Road. MCDOT Adopt-A-Highway program has reported over four hundred bags of trash has already been picked up in the area. We need your help.
Participants must be at least twelve years of age to participate for safety reasons. Safety vests, special trash bags and road safety signs will be provided for the event. A community celebration will immediately follow the clean up at the Rainbow Valley Elementary School from 9:00am to 11:00am with fun activities for the entire family.
MCDOT Adopt A Highway is designed to provide recognition to organizations, families and individuals that take pride in their area and go the extra distance to achieve clean public lands.
Hope to see everyone there. Please pre-register so we know how many hot dogs to prepare.
